Saying goodbye :-(
Daisy is a very outspoken little girl when we are at home, but when I take her out, she turns into a completely different little girl, and becomes super shy. When we are at the park, she wants to play with the other children, but doesn’t know how to really go about it. Lately I have been trying to help her overcome this feat by introducing her to the children on the playground and encouraging her to talk and play with them. The first five minutes or so are usually awkward, but she eventually gets over it, and starts following her new “best friend” all over the place like a little puppy dog. I usually let her play for about an hour, then my allergies get the best of me, and it is time to go. The thing is, everytime she has to say goodbye to her new “best friend”, it always turns into a tragedy. First she will ignore me and continue to follow her friend, then there is some sad crying, then she goes on by saying “but I love her!” and “I need her!”. Then if we leave at the same time as the other kid, she will yell at me to follow their car. I want Daisy to make friends and have fun at the park, but when it is time to go, it can be very sad.
So now that I am out of school I have so much free time. I also have to still take Daisy to her school so that I don’t lose her spot. To keep myself from going crazy bored, I have been spending my free time (when Daisy is in school) at the gym working out (which I just want to say, I am still sore from a circut training class that I took two days ago! I am so out of shape.). I have also been helping my friend with her store that she just opened up about a month or so ago. Really awesome store with lot’s of cute stuff. So nice to have another option to buy clothes in town other than Wal Mart or K Mart. Just wish I wasn’t so poor so I could spend lot’s of money buying all her cute stuff. I take my state test to get certified as a EMT-Paramedic June 14, so until then I am going to have to keep finding ways to keep myself occupied so that I can stay sane.
