Today I took Daisy to two different Easter egg hunts, tried to get her to meet the Easter Bunny (she was not so enthusiastic about meeting the Easter Bunny), went to the park, and decorated Easter eggs for the first time. Here are some pictures of our fun day.

Well, I finnally have a minute to sit and write something down. It is spring break, yeah. I really needed a break. Last week Daisy was really sick. She had a temp of over 103 for four days in a row, and ended up with croup. Thursday I went to Gastonia, about three hours away, to do clinicals on Friday. That was really fun. They have a machine called the “thumper” that does CPR for you and I really wanted to get it out and play with it. The very first call we had was a DOA and we hooked the “thumper” up to him. So, not only did I get to play with it, I got to see it in action. I am not sure if it is better than doinf traditional CPR, but it is cool that it will do CPR and ventilate your patient once it is intubated, and all you have to worry about is pushing the drugs while your partner drives. So it is still pretty cool.
Anyway, I hope that the weather cooperates this week so that I can enjoy the outdoors a bit.
