Christmas Day
Christmas was spent opening presents, feasting on good homecooked food, playing with new toys, and talking to friends/family on the phone. Daisy, being the only child in the house, got showered with presents. Here are the top 5 presents that she absolutely loved: #1- Make-up (i know, I am crazy right? Giving a 3-year old make up. But she is always getting into mine, and I figured that if I get her her own make-up, maybe, she might leave mine alone.) #2- a toddler MP3 player (she loves music. she is always singing and dancing.) #3- A Dance mat (You put it on the floor and dance on it and it plays music) #4- Baby alive doll (It coos, cries, wiggles, laughs, drinks real water, and really pees) #5- a play barbeque that has coals that really light up and make noise.

Birdie fly home!
For the last two days that I have been at home, I have noticed a little bird that kind of look like the one in this picture, trying to get into my house. The poor thing keeps flying into my living room window over and over again trying to get in. You would think after a few times the little bird would figure out that he can’t fly through the window, but it hasn’t figured it out yet. It is kind of funny, but sad at the same time. It will sit on the deck railing for a little while, then come flying into the window and fall to the deck floor. Then it will go back to the railing and sit for a little while and then start all over again. I don’t believe I have ever seen a bird so determined.

Being Silly at Wal Mart
While waiting to use the Kodak printer at Wal Mart to copy some pictures today, Daisy decided to be silly with a sticker one of the Wal Mart workers gave her when we walked into the store. Funny part was when someone would walk by us in the isle, she would say “Hey!” or “Hi!” to the person walking by with the sticker on a different part of her face. (forehead, cheek, nose, lips) She thought it was hilarious. It was funny, but a little
embaressing at the same time. Also, while were walking throughout the store, Daisy started singing Jingle Bells at the top of her lungs. She only stopped singing for a moment when she realized that she had an audience of other shoppers watching her sing. But as soon as the other shoppers went on their way, she was at it again. Ohhh, the joy of shopping with a toddler.

Taking a walk
Wow, it is so wierd having so much time with nothing that I have to do. I am enjoying spending time with Daisy, though. Yesterday Daisy and I went for a walk down to the main road to check out the neighbors animals. They have pigs and goats.

No more school!!!
Well I just finished my last final, and I am out of school until January 7th of 2008! So excited to have some time off to relax, hang out with the munchkin, and do whatever I want to do. Yeah! So as a tribute to no more school, here is a pic of some of my classmates and I when we went to our EMS conference in Greensbourough a couple of months ago.
Now I have to start getting ready for Christmas and birthdays. Christmas really snuck up on me this year. I haven’t even bought my Christmas cards yet, sorry guys, you will be getting cards from me, but you might not get them before Christmas. And I haven’t even thought about what to do about Daisy’s birthday party yet. I am such a procrastinator.
