For Thanksgiving, my mom, sister, myself and Daisy went to Ofallen, Illinois to visit my mom’s brother, Ed, and his family. Daisy loved it. She spent the whole time playing with their big yellow lab, Lady, and my 10 year old cousin, Josh. On Thanks giving day, we decided to go to the movies. I had never taken Daisy to the movies before, and was a bit nervous. She does not do well sitting still for long periods of time. I decided to take her to Mr Magorium’s Wonder Emporium because it looked like a pretty colorful movie that might grab her attention for two hours. Well, she did good for a little while, but she was not into it as much as I had hoped. Plus there was a sad part in the movie and Daisy started crying really loud. Needless to say, I will not be taking Daisy to another movie for quite a while. (Oh, by the way, the movie is not that great, and I do not recomend it to my friends and family. If you really want to watch it, wait until it comes out on video to rent it. It had some good ideas, but I was not as impressed with it as much as I thought I would be.)
Friday, I was one of those crazy shoppers that got up at 5 am and waited in line outside of Target at 5:30 am, until 6 am, when it opened, to beat the mad rush of people to the electronic section of the store to get some good deals on some Christmas presents. (Oh how I love to shop! I miss the city and the stores. The only choices I have in Franklin are Wal Mart and K Mart.) Then we went to a bunch of other stores, and the mall. (I had almost forgotten what a mall looked like.)

On Saturday we headed home. A 12-hour drive. Daisy did really well, though.
