I volunteered to pass out candy last night with Westcare. (Westcare is an EMS service in Sylva, where I plan on working when I graduate.) We decorated the ambulance and it looked awesome. We also put strobe lights inside, which looked really cool at night.
Earlier in the day I took Daisy to the park and to a fall festival that they had in the town square, which was really fun. I didn’t get any pics, though. But here are some pics of Daisy wearing an awesome shirt that I bought for her at the EMS conference that I went to in Greensborough. Can you tell what it is?… It is an EMS My Little Pony, cool, huh?

Repelling of a Cliff

Fall
I love Fall. It is definantly my favorite season. I love the smell in the air and the leaves changing colors on the trees. I love to sit in front of the fireplace and get cozy with a blanket. Yeah for Fall!
It is kind of funny here with the weather. Last week we were still using the air conditioner. This week we are using the fire place. There is no in between. It is hot one week, and then all of a sudden, cold.
Anyway, tomorrow I am going repelling of a cliff in my Rescue Scene Management class. Sooo excited. I’ll take some pictures and post them later this week.

Greensborough,NC
Ok so I have been so blog lazy lately. My friends are starting to get onto me about writing a blog, so here is what has been going on lately. Before this last weekend, nothing exciting. School work, studying, couple of tests, normal school stuff. Then, on Sunday, me and three of my classmates headed over to Greensborough, NC (4 hours away) for an EMS conference. We stayed in the Sheridan, and we all stayed in the same room. We were told that we had to go to eight classes, and the rest of the time was ours to do whatever we wanted to do. We also had some friends that are already paramedics stay in another room that we hung out with a bunch too. The first night there we all got “happy”. Well maybe one of my classmates wasn’t so happy. He got his nose broken. (the guy sitting in the ambulance in my september 5th blog) Pretty funny story. I guess they are right when they say, “it isn’t a good party unless something gets broken”. Cause it was a pretty good party. Acutally, we were pretty “happy” for three and a half days. We had gotten togther a bunch of 60cc syringes and made Jello shots with them. There were also bars and a really fun club in the hotel, plus the liquor that we brought with us. It was a fun time. But I am glad to be home again, and I did miss my little munchkin a bunch. I have never been away from her that long. Plus, being around the same four people for three and a half days straight does bring up some sort of drama. Here is a picture of our Jello Shots.
