River Rescue
I am in a class this semester called Rescue Scene Management. It is a class that mostly takes place outside, learning how to rescue people from different/unique situations. Durring this course we get to repel off a cliff, take a ropes course, cut people out of cars, and lots of other really cool stuff. Yesterday, we learned how to rescue people from the river. It was SO much fun. Although, the life jackets were so tight, I could hardley breath. They make them super tight so that they don’t float above your head when you are in the water, and let me tell you, life jackets are not made for girls that have been blessed (if you know what I mean). There were three girls in our group, and we were all dying. But it was fun nevertheless. It was sooo hot outside and the water felt really good. Plus we are in a drought right now, so parts of the river were so low that they were only a couple of inches deep. We seriously had to roll around over the rocks to go down those parts of the river. It was halarious, especially since we were in life jackets, and it made it that much harder to roll over the rocks.

Question….When do feet stop growing?
My feet stopped growing around 6th or 7th grade and reached the perfect size of 6 1/2. They stayed that size all through high school, after high school, durring my pregnancy (I’ve heard that they can grow durring a pregnancy) up until two and a half years after my kid was born. But now (this summer), my perfect size 6 1/2 has become a size 7 1/2-8. Not that 7 1/2-8 is huge, but it is not 6 1/2. And if my feet decide to grow a size/size and a half when I am 26, what is to say they won’t decide to grow again somewhere down the road? Am I going to end up with huge feet someday? or has the growing stopped? Anyone have any ideas?
TERRIBLE TWO’S!!!
O.K., so I thought that the terrible two’s meant throwing yourself on the floor and invovled a bunch of yelling and screaming, better known as a tantrum. I have come to believe that is not what the terrible two’s is. I can handle tantrums. I can even laugh at them, because they are so rediculous most of the time. And by the way, Daisy is past them. BUT Now she has become a demanding, independant little monster (not all the time) that talks back to me. It seems everytime I open my mouth, she has a rude remark to yell back at me. Her favorites being “Don’t” “Ahhhh” “No” “I can do it myself!” And today she insisted that I “say sorry” to her because I put a toy away that she was “suposedly” still playing with. (even though she was in the other room playing with about ten other toys that she had dragged out) NOT kidding, she followed me around the house yelling at me, “why’d you do that mom?, I wasn’t done playing with that!” “Say sorry!” So incidently, I apologized to my two year old for cleaning up her mess. I am going insane!!!
ps-start back at school Monday, maybe the break from each other will cool her off a bit. ;-?
