Meez

My friend did one these, so I had to check it out. I couldn’t get it to export (not completely dumb with computers, but not exactly the smartest). It is supposed to be animated. To check out the real one, go to http://www.meez.com/singingintherain

Not another Ear Infection!!!

It hasn’t even been a whole month, and Daisy has yet another ear infection. I was hoping that the last one that she had would be her last, at least for a while anyway. But it looks like I am going to have to talk to her doctor this week about getting some tubes put in her ears. I know that it is not a major surgery (I have even had it done to myself when I was 15), but I am still a little nervous with the idea of my little baby being put through any type of surgery at all. But hopefully having tubes put in her ears will help with all her ear problems. I am sure that she is tired of her ears hurting and fevers that come with the infection. I know I am tired (sleep, oh how I miss sleep!) of staying up all night with a sad baby.

Computer issues

So I know that I have been slacking with my posts. The thing is, my computer at home has decided to go to a better place (Is there such a thing as computer heaven?). Unfortunately, this means that I am not able to post from home at the moment. If I want to post a blog, I have to use the schools computers, which kind of stinks, but is still better than nothing. I am only at school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so don’t expect too many blogs from me this summer, sorry. But I will try to post as much as I can, and hopefully get a new computer soon. ;-)

Pet fish

Yesterday I took Daisy to Sylva with me to trun in some homework at school. Then I was going to take her to the park, but my allergies were driving me crazy. So we went to Wal Mart to get me some allergie pills. While we were there I took her over to see the fish in the fish tanks that they have there. (they don’t have fish at the Wal Mart in Franklin) And would you believe that I saw the coolest little fish, that I had to get some for Daisy. Have any of you ever heard of a tatoo fish? I hadn’t either. But there is such a thing and they are so cool. These fish are all white and it looks like they have been colored on with a little crayon. The one that I saw, that I had to have, had a pink heart on both sides. Then there was one that had three vertical strips on either side of his body. On one side the stripes are blue. On the other side the strips are red. The last one that I bought has little pink and light blue poka dots all over. It looks like a clown outfit. And it is all mother natures doing, isn’t that cool? I tried to take some pics of the fish, but they are kind of blurry. Hopefully you can make them out ok.

Can you see the heart?

Barbies

Daisy loves to play with her dolls. She is always changing their diapers, changing their clothes, and feeding them. She even pretends to leave them with the babysitter (me) so that she can go to work.  She is always mimicking what I do to her with her ”babies”. She puts them in time out when they are bad, tells them that they are making her crazy when they don’t listen to her (that is pretty funny to hear her say), reads them stories, takes them to the doctor, ect. But she can’t “make their hair pretty” because they don’t really have hair. Recently she has discovered her barbies and that her barbies have hair that she can make pretty. So lately she has been getting her barbies out and brushing their hair. Then putting, well trying to put, rubber bands in their hair. She will tell them to sit still and say things like, “oh, did I hurt you? I so sorry.” and after she is finished, “Oh you look so pretty!” She doesn’t do anything else with her barbies except their hair. It is so cute.
