Well, I took my cardiology midterm on friday, and I have to say, that I am not as confident about winning my bet as I was when I walked into the classroom. I don’t know what my grade is yet, but I have a feeling, that it isn’t as good I was expecting to do. The questions were really easy, but the rhythm strips that we had to interpret were really hard. I am pretty good at interpreting rhythm strips, but the ones that my teacher had on the test were really hard. Even the guy I had the bet with agreed about how hard the strips were and doesn’t think that he did that great either. So hopefully, we will know on Monday what our grades are and which one of us won the bet.
In other news we have to start wearing polo shirts and kakies at my job (Franlin Health and Fittness Center-it is a gym-I work at the front desk mostly and also the nursury) ;-?

Oh how time flies. Can you believe that Daisy is already wearing size three! And she finally used the big girl potty to do the #2 last night. That is the only problem that we had been having with the potty training, she wouldn’t go #2 in the potty, only #1. So, Yeah!
Midterms start next week, so if I don’t post for a little while, you’ll know that I am spending all my extra time studying. I have a bet with a classmate in Cardiology. If he gets a better grade than me, I have to make him some mexican lasauna (really good stuff!), and if I beat him, he is going to take me out to lunch. So I am going to be studying like crazy for the next couple of days.

Happy Valentines Day!!!
I tried to post this yesterday, but the website wasn’t working like it was supposed to. Anyway, Here is Daisy dressed up for Valentines Day with her grandpa (His head isn’t cut off in the real pic, but computer wasn’t working with me when I was posting it). And here is the Valentine that she made at school for her mommy. She also made a cute little candle holder (a baby jar with tissue paper glued to it.).
AND, Daisy hasn’t had any accidents for two days in a row now.

Update…
0 (zero, nadda, negative) accidents today with the potty training. I may be jumping the gun a little, but I think it is safe to say that Daisy is officially out of diapers and that from here on out diapers are a thing of the past.

Potty training

EMS classes, because I had no one to watch Daisy. And when you miss an EMS class you have to make it up by writing a paper (single spaced, I might add, and character size 11, not 12) for every hour that you missed. And since I missed a two-hour class, I had to write a two page paper to make up for it about the differences between monophasic and biphasic defibrillators (I missed my cardiology class). And just writing the paper put me way behind. So lot’s of homework+studying+working+taking care of the kid+all the misc. stuff I have to do = less time to take pictures of my kid and write in my blog.
I don’t have much new and exciting to tell right now, anyway. Life is pretty routine. School is going pretty good. Clinicals are getting more fun, because we are able to do more and more every week. I was in the ER last night for clinicals and got to see some cool stuff. It snowed again late last night and all day, so school was cancelled today. Daisy’s daycare is cancelled for tomorrow too, and mine is only delayed two hours so far, but it could still change and be cancelled. Fortunately, I found out tonight that her daycare is going to be closed tomorrow, so I found someone to watch her for me while I am in school. NO more papers for me! That one just about killed me. I mean really, how much can you say about defibrillators. You push a button, it analyses the rhythm, and then it shocks the person if they need to be shocked. It took me forever for me to BS my way through that thing.
