First Haircut

Yesterday I gave Daisy her first haircut. “First Haircut!”, you say, “She has no hair to cut!” I know, her hair isn’t really that long. But there was one piece of hair on the top of her head that was super long. Everytime I looked at it, it reminded me of Donald Trump and his silly combover. It was driving me nuts, and I finally got around to cutting it off last night. It looks so much better.

New tricycle

Daisy has been talking about bicycles a lot lately in her jibber jabber, so I went and bought her a tricycle today. I tried to show her how to use the peddals, but she didn’t quite get it. I am sure she will though, eventually. She loves it, and spent a good part of the day playing on it.

Daisy’s favorite movie

Daisy watches this movie everyday, sometimes more than once. I know all the words frontwords to backwords. Daisy is the girliest girl I know and her favorite movie is cars? I don’t get it.

Snow Day!!!

Today started out pretty normal. Woke up at 5:30am, got ready for school, woke up my baby and got her ready for the day, took Daisy to daycare, went to school. At 10:30am it started snowing. At 10:55am, durring my cardiology class, there was a knock on the door. “School is closing at 11:00am.”, someone tells the teacher. Soooo, we got out of class an hour early, and I didn’t have to go to my Anatomy and Physiology II class.  Nice, huh? Had to pick up Daisy, because her daycare closed because of the snow too. It is still snowing pretty hard, and I am thinking that school will be cancelled tomorrow too. ;-) Normally, I would tell people that I hate snow, but today, if you ask me, I will tell you, “I love snow!”

Here are some pics of Daisy. She got a huge pillow storybook for her birthday (she loves to read!) so the first one is her reading her storybook. The other one is of her listening to her heart with my stethescope. She is so funny when she plays with it. She will put the bell on your chest to listen to your heart and then she wil start breathing really loud and fast. Sometimes I think she is going to pass out from hyperventalating. Hopefully I will have some pics of Daisy in the snow for you tomorrow. She is taking a nap at the moment, and although I said I love the snow today, I not so sure I love the idea of going outside in the COLD, brrrrr. ;-) We’ll see.

Back to school

Well, school starts back tomorrow. No more lazy days of nothing to do and hanging out with the munchkin. Here comes four more months of sleepless nights, homework galore, and stress neverending. Can’t wait. Cry But on the bright side, I get to see all my friends, and we start our clinicals (7 hours a week), so we get to do lots of cool stuff (under a doctors supervision, of course).

Playing with my babies.

Here is Daisy playing outside with her babies. She was driving them to the North Pole, and then decided they were sick and took them to the Doctor. Kind of funny, because she is scared of both Santa Clause and the Doctor, but has been talking about them a lot lately. One fun thing that happened this week was that Daisy gave one of her babies a name. Instead of just calling her doll “baby”, she named it “baby Terry”.  I am trying to get her to call a different doll “baby Nicole”, but she hasn’t really caught on. She now calls all her dolls “baby Terry”. Terry is my moms name, and my mom is loving it that Daisy named her doll after her.
