Just trying it out
Ok this is not a recent picture. It is a picture from Golden Gardens beach in Seattle. But I just learned how to put my pics with my blog, instead of using only the albums. I don’t have any recent pics to post, so I am trying this with an old picture. Now that I know how to do this, I am going to take a bunch of pics of daisy and me and start posting. I am so excited! I know, I’m a little slow too, but at least I finnally figured it out.

…falling down, my fair Daisy.
Another week has gone by, and nothing too exciting has happened. I am so busy all the time, you would think that I have something exciting to tell you, but it all is the same thing over and over again. Not really exciting, just repititious. Wake up, go to school, come home, go to sleep. Then start over.
School is going really well, though. I like all of my classes, except my expository writing class. It is really the teacher that bothers me, but it is only one semester, and then I don’t have to have him ever again.
Work is the same too. I don’t really like working in the nursury as much as the front desk, even though I get to take Daisy with me. Especially on fridays. I am thinking about not working Fridays anymore starting in November. (if I can last that long). On Fridays I go to school in the morning, and then after school lets out, I go to pick Daisy up from daycare and then go straight to work in the nursury. Usually Daisy is cranky because she is tired and she is clingy because she missed me. It just makes it kind of hard to take care of other kids when your own kid won’t let you put her down. So we’ll see how October goes.
Last night I skipped one of my classes and came home early to hang out with Daisy. She has been a little (understatement) clinggy lately whenever I am home, so I decided to spend a little extra time with her. Well, we read a ton of books (that is her most favorite thing to do), then had a tickle fest (her second favorite thing. It is so cute. She runs to the other side of the room and says “Tickle me” She wants you to run around and chase her and then tickle her when you catch her.), after that we played with her “babies” (this one ties with reading books. She is always playing with her babies. She feeds them, reads them stories, takes them for walks in her doll stroller, sings “rock a baby” to them, and even wipes their bottoms when they go “poo poo”. She also has to take one whenever we go somewhere, and kiss all the rest good-bye before we leave.), then we cuddled for a bit. Later that evening, though, tragedy struck. My baby fell down the stairs. She is ok, but her little face got all bruised up and I feel so bad everytime I look at her. She usually does very well on the stairs, but this time she was leaning forward looking down into the family room from the top of the stairs, and leaned over too far and fell forward. I am so glad that nothing serious happend to her. Scary stuff, but that is a part of growing up, I guess. So hard to watch your kids get hurt, especially when you are right there watching them.
Three more weeks until Fall Break. Can’t wait!!!

Open House
These last two weeks, my friend has been watching Daisy for me while I go to school. On Tuesday, she will be starting at a daycare (more like a preschool, than a daycare). The daycare that she will be going to had an open house on Friday, so we took Daisy over so that she could meet her teachers and see her classroom. She absoulutly loved it there. She wasn’t shy when her teachers came to talk/play with her, and she loved all the fun toys that they had to play with. She especially loved the play area outside. She was having so much fun, that when it was time to go, she pitched a huge fit, and I could barley get her bukeld into the carseat. I have been kind of scared about putting her in a daycare, but seeing her reaction, makes me feel pretty good about it. There are only 8 kids in her class. She is the youngest one. All the other kids are 2-3 years old. She has two teachers. They seem really nice, and it sounds like they have some fun activities planned.
Yesterday, we went to the park to play. They have a really nice park here. It is super hot during the summer, so they put in these fountain/sprinklers next to the playground for the kids to play in. It is really cool. The sprinklers/fountains go off at different times and spray in different patterns. Daisy loves to run around in the water. I didn’t bring my camera with me, but we are going to go tomorrow, so I will take some pictures of her playing in the water. Hopefully, I will have time to post them tomorrow night, so that you guys can look at them.
